Most of the mattresses Matelas Mirabel produces contain CertiPUR-US® certified foams.

CertiPUR-US® is a U.S.-based, non-profit, global certification program for flexible polyurethane foam for use in bedding and upholstered furniture. Certified foams must meet strict composition, emission and durability standards.

Companies that hold this certification have their foams tested annually by independent, accredited laboratories to ensure they meet the required standards at all times.

CertiPUR-US® certified foams are made:

– Without products that damage the ozone layer

– Without PBDE, TDCPP or TCEP (“Tris”) flame retardants

– Without lead, mercury or other heavy metals

– Without formaldehyde

– Without phthalates, as regulated by the CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission)

They also emit low (less than 0.5 parts per million) VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) indoors.
